The COVID-19 pandemic has turned the lives of many upside down, affecting the impoverished members of our communities most of all.  Currently across our province, thousands of families are facing the prospect of hunger.

The Vancouver Sun Adopt-A-School (AAS) campaign has been supporting families struggling on income assistance or minimum wage jobs since 2011 and this year sent $900,000 to schools to feed and clothe children. But with schools being shut this help is no longer available.

While teachers are mobilizing to get food vouchers or deliveries of food to families living in poverty and isolation. The Vancouver Children’s Fund (which administers AAS) has liquidated $100,000 from its emergency response to address this growing need and issued a call for donations.

Summit Labels is donating $20,000 to the fund to offer what help we can during this urgent time. For more information on the fund and to join us in donating, click the link below
